So congratulations to the Giants. That play where Eli Manning somehow evaded a sack from multiple Patriots defenders and then David Tyree making the catch and using his helmet to hold onto it was just amazing. What else is there to say? I think the Patriots ultimately wilted under pressure.
I am scared of these Giants. Man what a tough division the NFC East will be once next year.
Anyways, I wanted to make a point about one commercial. The Sales Genie commercial with the Pandas. This is by far the most racist commercial I have ever seen. It sounded like it was basically an American guy trying to speak like an Asian FOB. What the fuck man? Why would the Super Bowl allow such a commercial?
Also, I just rewatched the movie "The Last Kiss." Initially, I was neutral on how I felt about the movie, but after a 2nd watch. I can say that this movie has such a horrible message to the story. Basically, at the end, the main character, Zach Braff's character, cheated on his fiancee, but she forgives him at the end. It's guys like that bastard's character that is so messed up about this world. They're basically telling us guys that we can cheat on a woman and all we gotta do is say we're sorry and wait outside her door for days and it'll be all okay.

Snow/Rain/Sleet/Wintry Mix, whatever it is, I hate it. Plus my thoughts on an NBA trade and Lost.
So today, Penn State cancelled classes for 8am and 9:05am classes. This was a good break for me since I was up until 4am studying for an exam @ 11:15AM and I was supposed to have a quiz for my 9:05 class. But man, that was some terrible weather. I don't think we've had anything as bad so far this academic school year. First, when I stepped outside to catch the bus to campus, the entire roads and sidewalks were covered with ice, I was slipping and sliding to the bus stop, felt like I was skiing. Then when I left my exam early, it was raining pretty fast and frequent as I had to hustle my way across campus (usually a 10 min walk, but today it took about 20 mins). There were so many big puddles of water EVERYWHERE, everything turned to slush, and then a jackass driver purposely made a big splash and I, along with some other people, got pretty wet from it. For my one class where we had to form a study group to receive extra credit, two of the bastards ended up joining a different group after the class and never sent me or the others an email to let us know. Anyways, I owned my Engineering Economics exam, so that was the highlight of the otherwise dreadful day. WOOT WOOT
Now, for my thoughts on an NBA trade that was just announced today...
The Memphis Grizzlies agree to trade Pau Gasol and a 2010 second round draft pick to the Los Angeles Lakers for Kwame Brown (KWAME FREAKIN BROWN?!), Aaron McKie, Javaris Crittenton, a 2008 and 2010 first round draft pick and the rights to Pau Gasol's brother Marc Gasol.
This has got to be one of the worst trades the Grizzlies have made. Those two first round draft picks are bound to be lower picks anyways since the Lakers will have a starting five of Andrew Bynum, Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, Kobe Bryant, and Derek Fisher/Jordan Farmar for possibly the next few years. The Grizzlies basically gave the Lakers a golden ticket to return to a Championship-Caliber level. The only asset the Grizzlies truly received in return is Javaris Crittenton who could be hit or miss since he is still a rookie. Now the Grizzlies have three young point guards in Kyle Lowry, Mike Conley Jr, and Javaris Crittenton. They also received Kwame Brown and Aaron McKie to supply cap relief after the season. But with the way the team is built now, who would want to play for them? The only positive I can possibly see out of this is that the Grizzlies can trade one or two of their young point guards for more help at other positions and build around Rudy Gay and one of their young PGs. But still, you just don't give up a player like Pau Gasol for chump change.
Now for my thoughts on last night's episode of Lost:
I admit, I stopped watching this show after Season 1 based on the fact that I didn't believe the writers knew what direction they were going and the way Lost fans were getting furious from all the questions being asked in the show with no answers given. I did catch some episodes of Season 3 of Lost, but it wasn't until I saw the Season 3 Finale replay the other night that sucked me back into this show. Last night's episode with the Flash Forwards really got me excited about this season, and now I plan to catch up on Season 2 and 3 during my free time. However, I hate Jack's character even more than I did in Season 1 now. They need to focus more on Locke (who I think is the best character on the show) and Desmond.
